not compatible with OSX 10.8 or higher

Apple should not promote software that has not been compatible for years.
I purchased the software, updated my OS and now it doesn’t see any drives at all regaurdless of their condition.
They have a newer version they want to sell on their web site, why isn’t that one listed?
