Application was a total waste of money!!!

I just bought this software with the hopes of repairing an external drive the OSX disc utility could not. I have two external drives connected to my laptop, Data Rescue doesnt recognize either of them, even though they appear in The OSX disc utitlity and one of the drives, I know is just fine.

A prompt appears, "no image showing up, click here for more information" When you click you are directed to the Data Rescue website, where for a fee you can ship your hard drive to their facility to have it repaired. So Ive just spent $59ºº for a program that doesnt even recognize that external drives are connected to my computer, and Im told that, if my external drive is not visible, I should consider sending it to their state of the art facility to get it repaired. Even though one of the drives is just fine.

I feel like I just got hustled and the company is playing upon my vulnerability. Why is this application on the App store. How do you get a refund?
