Hit or miss, but when it hits, you’ll be happy.

We’ve used this software for various drives (mechanical, solid state, SD cards, etc) and sometimes it works perfectly, while others not so much. I would say it is about a 30-40% recovery rate. That may sound low, but when you consider your drive is probably never going to work again, 30-40% is ok.

There is a newer version on their website, but I just keep an old Snow Leopard machine around for this software.
